This Week in Foodie TV


The Grand Finale of Chopped All-Stars pits the four surviving chefs in a battle for a $50,000 prize to charity
 Here is your guide to what the foodie community will be tuning in to see this week!

MONDAY:
  • 6:00 PM: Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (Travel Channel, 1 hr.)
    • Lisbon, Portugal 
  • 7:00 PM: Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives (Food Network, 30 min)
    • Guy samples Neapolitan pizza, Carribean Stew & Chicken Burgers
  • 10:30 PM: Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives* (Food Network, 30 min)
    • Triple D visits a 50-year old drive-in that serves up Prime Rib in Boise, ID (home of yours truly!)

TUESDAY:
  • 7:00 PM: Chopped (Food Network, 1 hr.)

WEDNESDAY:
  • 7:00 PM: Restaurant: Impossible (Food Network, 1 hr.)
    • Chef Robert Irvine tries to save "Mama Lee's" soul food restaurant in San Antonio, TX

THURSDAY:
  • 3:00 PM: Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations* (Travel Channel, 1 hr.)
    • Laos (Asian being some of my favorite cuisine, I am always tuning in when a show visits Asia)

FRIDAY:
  • 3:00 PM: Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives* (Food Network, 30 min)
    • Guy is back in Idaho! This time he visits Rick's Press Room in Meridian, just outside Boise

SATURDAY:
  • 1:00 PM: Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives* (Food Network, 30 min)
    • Guy visits a spot in Ventura, CA that serves up Pancake Burritos! Color me intrigued!

SUNDAY:
  • 6:00 PM: Chopped All-Stars (Food Network, 1 hr.)
    • The Grand Finale of the $50,000 All-Stars Challenge pits the four previous winners against each other in the effort to be Chopped Champion and earn the grand prize for charity
  • 7:00 PM: Iron Chef America (Food Network, 1 hr.)
    • Newest Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian is challenged by fellow NYC chef Michael Ferraro
